My name is Seth Blumenthal and I'm an avid lover of technology. From space shuttles to Twitter, I'm intrigued by seeing what human ingenuity can create, and how those creations can change the world. This lifelong enthusiasm propelled me into the fields of engineering and computer science at Lehigh University, where I picked up some of the tools to help me develop some technological contributions of my own.
Since June 2013 Seth has been an analyst and developer for Klish Group inc, a small technology services contractor specializing in HP's content management system (CMS), the Autonomy suite. While working at Klish Group Seth has had the opportunity to participate as both lead developer and project manager for corporate clients include various Fortune 500 companies.
Seth's responsibilities include developing metadata-based targeting web components, writing customized java packages for client environments, designing web architectures for server installations/migrations, and working 1-on-1 with client representatives.
While studying at Lehigh University, Seth's interest in biology and computers led him to the field of bioinformatics where he completed over two years of undergraduate research under Professor Brian Y. Chen studying volumetric analysis of protein structures. Specifically Seth researched CDK2-Cyclin interactions, Cytochrome P450s inhibition, and using high performance computing for molecular dynamics simulations.
Seth graduated from Lehigh University in 2012 with dual degrees. He holds an B.S. in Bioengineering where his focus revolved around protein sequencing and bioelectric devices. Seth also achieved a B.A. degree in Computer Science and Bioengineering through his involvement with Lehigh's IDEAS program, which offered a customized curriculum integrating biological and computer sciences.
In 2008 Seth graduated from Lower Moreland High School in his hometown of Huntingdon Valley, PA.
